My husband and I have been married for three years and we have two children – a 2.5-year-old daughter and a 6-month-old son.  We live in Humboldt County where my husband is a teacher and I stay home with our children.

When our daughter was born, we knew that we wanted to use cloth diapers.  We started out with a diaper service because I couldn’t imagine washing the diapers myself in our washing machine.  We quickly realized that we could save a lot of money by purchasing our own diapers.  I quickly got over my phobia of washing them.  Although we loved knowing that we were saving money, we were constantly fighting diaper rashes.  Not knowing that the reason was the wet cotton sitting on her skin, we continued to use them.  We also experienced leaking, but we just assumed that it was inevitable and just all part of our cloth diaper choice.

When we had our son, we started using the same diapers as our daughter because they were still in perfect shape.  I decided that cloth diapers shouldn’t have to be this difficult.  After doing some research, I realized that the solution is fleece.  It is soft on his skin and keeps him completely dry.  We have not experienced leaking or diaper rashes with our son and we are not expecting to.  We are so happy with the product that we created and know that you will be too.
